Milton Community Foundation
The mission of the Milton Community Foundation is to promote the well-being of the community and undertake programs and projects that serve the people.
Our Mission is supported by the following:
• We undertake community-based programs and projects.
• We sponsor educational, cultural and recreational activities.
• We escrow funds for citizen-led initiatives.
• We promote the protection, preservation and enhancement of Milton's natural environment, and the Broadkill River
• We receive funds on behalf of the Town of Milton to protect groundwater, prevent flooding and enable other infrastructure projects.
• We support ‘The Gladys Wilkins Seeding the Future Scholarship’ established by John Potocki and ‘The HOB Scholarship’ established by Dr. Ken Brittingham in honor of his grandfather Herman Oscar Brittingham for students seeking a degree in educaton.
The Foundation Is a not-for-profit educational and charitable organization that is governed by a volunteer Board. Our activities are supported by fund-raising events, grants, donations, and bequests.
